LGBTQ+ Books

**THIS PAGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND IS PROBABLY NOT WORTH LOOKING AT**

We need more diverse books. Since particularly the LGBT community tends to hit me quite personally (that's a strange way to put it..), I thought I'd make an ever-growing list of books with LGBTQ+ characters. And I guess some of these are diverse in other ways as well, but I would like it to focus around LGBTQ+ characters. Preferably main characters. Or at least characters that are fairly important to the story...

If you have any additions to this list, and I'm hoping many of you will, please please please TELL ME either through a comment on here, Twitter, Goodreads, whatever you like. This is a list that's going to be fueled mostly by your recommendations. So thank you in advance!

Also, I'd like to keep this book mainly YA, but I will add books that just interest me as a young adult, including classic and pioneering LGBTQ+ books.

Books are in order first by what topic they deal with (sexuality, gender, etc.) and then by when they were written/their publication date.

*Books I have personally read. I.e., you can ask me about them. I'll work on reading as many as possible...

When you've looked for hours and can't find one book with an agender character...unless you want to count Every Day by David Levithan, which I wouldn't exactly. Sad. :(

I couldn't find any asexual characters either. At least not ones that were main characters..or even confirmed exactly.
